Add: Niagara Falls, NY 14303, United States

he world has been beating a path to the Buffalo Niagara region since shortly after Father Louis Hennepin became the first European to describe the “prodigious cadence of water” that is the mighty Falls in 1678. That early trickle of tourists became a steady stream after the completion of the Erie Canal in 1825 and a torrent when the railroad linked Western New York with points east. Today, millions of tourists from around the world continue to come by plane, train and automobile to experience the grandeur of Niagara Falls.

World-class attractions like the Maid of the Mist, Hornblower Cruises and the Cave of the Winds await the visitor who makes the short 20-minute drive from downtown Buffalo to Niagara Falls. You’ll savor the spectacular views, the thundering roar, the delicate mists and shimmering rainbows of this true national treasure.

Take a family photo overlooking the Falls at Terrapin Point in Frederick Law Olmsted’s lush, beautiful and natural Niara Falls State Park. Amid the distractions and developments of modern life, the Park still provides a glimpse of the original splendor that awaited the first visitors to the region. This is the Falls at its best.

Maid of the MistStep aboard the legendary Maid of the Mist or Hornblower Crulses and experience the power and majesty of the combined waters of four Great Lakes. You’ll be ferried to the base of the Horseshoe Falls and feel the rush of the water as it pounds the rocks below. From the moment you put on your giant blue poncho you’ll know you’re having a one-of-a-kind experience.

Next, be sure to visit the awe-inspiring Cave if the Winds. As you make your way to the Hurricane Deck, you’ll get an up-close-and-personal view of the roaring waters pouring over the precipice of Bridal Veil Falls. On a hot summer day, this is the ultimate run-through-the-sprinkler.

Nearby, you’ll find all manner of ways to experience this world wonder: helicopter rides, observation decks and towering vantage points that will give you a bird’s eye view of one of nature’s universally-acclaimed masterpieces.

The Parliament Buildings

Add: Wellington St, Ottawa, ON

Parliament Hill (French: Colline du Parlement), colloquially known as The Hill, is an area of Crown Land on the southern banks of the Ottawa River in Downtown Ottawa, Ontario. Its Gothic revival suite of buildings serves as the home of the Parliament of Canada and contains a number of architectural elements of national symbolic importance. Parliament Hill attracts approximately 3 million visitors each year.[1]

Originally the site of a military base in the 18th and early 19th centuries, development of the area into a governmental precinct began in 1859, after Queen Victoria chose Baytown as the capital of the Province of Canada. Following a number of extensions to the parliament and departmental buildings and a fire in 1916 that destroyed the Centre Block, Parliament Hill took on its present form with the completion of the Peace Tower in 1927. Since 2002, an extensive $1 billion renovation and rehabilitation project has been underway throughout all of the precinct’s buildings; work is not expected to be complete until after 2020.

CN Tower

CN Tower
Add:301 Front St W Toronto, ON M5V 2T6

The CN Tower is Toronto’s tallest and most defining landmark. Photos of Toronto are often defined by the building, which stretches more than 550 metres into the sky.

Today, aside from serving as a hub for telecommunications across the city, the CN Tower has become a major tourist destination. Visitors can test their courage by walking across the glass floor 113 stories above the ground. The first of its kind in the world, the glass floor gives you that dare-to-walk-on-air experience, with only 2.5 inches of glass holding you 342 metres in the air. The glass floor is actually stronger than most commercial floors and has the strength to hold 38,556 kg (85,000 lbs) or 14 hippos! Or, if you dare, travel higher up the tower to the Sky Pod, another 33 storeys above ground.

The tower’s revolving 360 Restaurant offers an award-winning wine list and a spectacular view for romantic evenings. Horizons, an upscale bistro on the Look Out Level, seats 130 and is equipped with a dance floor. If you’re not wild about heights, the Far Coast Café is a fully licensed fresh market café that serves an array of international foods and there is plenty to shop for at the base of the tower. A 10,000 sq. ft. marketplace sells uniquely Canadian souvenirs.

If the glass floor isn’t enough excitement for you, there’s the HIMALAMAZON motion theatre ride (must be 42 inches tall to ride). The Maple Leaf Cinema also plays a 15 minute film on the construction of the tower 37 years ago.

The CN Tower presents Legends of Flight 3D,  a family-friendly spectacle that explores the history of aviation. From the Wright Brothers creating the first ever plane to modern day technology building jetliners and aircraft carriors, the film shows us what can make or break the art of flight.

The latest features at the tour is EdgeWalk, the world’s highest full-circle, hands-free walk. Visitors are attached through safety rails and harnesses and walk along the Tower’s ledge, 116 storeys above ground, to experience breathtaking views of the city below. EdgeWalk is open from spring through until fall, and is closed for the winte

Stanley Park

Archaeological evidence suggests a human presence in the park dating back more than 3,000 years. The area is the traditional territory of different coastal indigenous peoples. From the Burred Inlet and Howe Sound regions, Squamish Nation had a large village in the park. From the lower Fraser River area, Museum Nation used its natural resources.

Where Lumberman’s Arch is now, there once was a large village called Whoi Whoi, or Xwayxway, roughly meaning place of masks. One longhouse, built from cedar poles and slabs, was measured at 200 feet (61 m) long by 60 feet (18 m) wide. These houses were occupied by large extended families living in different quadrants of the house. The larger houses were used for ceremonial pomiachs  where a host would invite guests to witness and participate in ceremonies and the giving away of property.

Another settlement was further west along the same shore. This place was called Chaythoos, meaning high bank. The site of Chaythoos is noted on a brass plaque placed on the lowlands east of Prospect Point commemorating the park’s centennial.

Both sites were occupied in 1888, when some residents were forcefully removed to allow a road to be constructed around the park, and their midden was used for construction material.

The popular landmark Swish Rock, located near present day Third Beach, was once called Slahkayulsh meaning he is standing up. In the oral history, a fisherman was transformed into this rock by three powerful brothers as punishment for his immorality.

Canada Place was built on the land which was originally the Canadian Pacific Railway’s Pier B-C. Built in 1927, its primary purpose was to serve CPR and other shipping lines trading across the Pacific Ocean.

In 1978 Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments commenced planning for development of convention, cruise ship and hotel facilities. Four years later, the Canada created a crown corporation, Canada Harbor Place Corporation (known as Canada Place Corporation until 2012), to develop the Canada Place project on the Pier B-C site. Construction began whenHM Queen Elizabeth II arrived on the Roy Yacht Britannia with The Right Hon. Pierre Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada and The Hon. William R. Bennett, Premier of BC to initiate the first concrete pour.

Canadian Place Corporation(CPC), a Crown agent, continues to act as the coordinating landlord for Canada Place facilities.

when you first come Canada what you need to bring

Let me talk about the problem of luggage, Air Canada only checked a large suitcase, Hainan Airlines is 2, Cathay Pacific is 2. Each box can not be more than 23 kg. Carry to keep the aircraft, you can also bring a small suitcase, not more than 10 kg, you can also back a backpack.

Need to bring something if you do not have relatives here, you’re come to a completely new environment, you have nothing, so what are the must need to bring. But Toronto basically anything you can buy, some things have to complete than domestic supermarket. So do not worry. My advice is: toiletries, with enough on it the first week, then you are familiar with can go out and buy. Bedding, you can buy over here, too occupy the position of the trunk. You eat the medicine, the best more than a little anti-inflammatory drugs, because here is a prescription anti-inflammatory drugs, not just be able to buy. Conversion plugs, if you are from a country with electronic products, then it is necessary. Summer and winter clothes and a bit more, I personally feel that the only two seasons here. Compare Leng great winter, down jackets and snow boots are a must. Questions on the phone, here you can sign a contract of 2-3 years, usually very cheap you can get iphone. You can also bring your own from home phones in here to buy a phone card on it. As for the computer it, personally feel that this side of the computer a little cheaper, but also Chinese system. So these are vary of. A few days can bring some things you usually eat, just arrived, and certainly eat well

what you need to do when you first come canada

First of all, whether you are sitting or Hainan Airlines Air Canada or Cathay Pacific, the plane will fill an entry card, the immigration card is in English, if you really do not understand what you can find flight attendants want the Chinese version, and then you can on the shining written on it, it is not possible to ask people under the next.

Second, when the Canadian border, which is through customs when we say, put this entry cards to pay up, then Customs will ask you a few questions, usually the first question is very simple to, say, to Canada doing to stay, where to school and so on. Then the customs entry card will be in your sketch painted on after uppercut together along with the passport back to you. Be sure to leave a good entry card, because you get finished in the final out of the airport luggage when someone will go back to immigration card.

Finally, and very important point. The first entry of the students are required to pick up Study Permit, that is, after you cross the customs, someone to guide you to a small room inside, remember to bring your passport and holding a sign when you cross the USCIS issued a message Annex, is that piece of paper with a barcode. There are schools offer, proof of payment of tuition, all with just in case.
By the way, the additional point, first-timers students remember to change for points (CDN), because when you pick up the luggage, you need to rent a small cart, two Canadian dollars, or Little Red Riding Hood can help you find the luggage, this you need to give a tip, ranging from 20-50 dollars.
